Hello to all my students in the CAE course beginning the first week in September! Here is something for you to read before the course starts!
This blog is for sharing – true communication with others from your class, with other classes and anyone else who may turn up.

After the first lesson in September I will allow you to add posts to the blog. However, comments are always welcome!

I will be using this blog to give you information, links, homework and support.

I hope you will use this blog to publish your work, eg. film or book critics, and to comment on other people’s writing. You may wish to add relevant, important, funny and other links to it, and perhpas even try making your own blog and attach it to this one.

There will also be the chance to make contact with other people / classes.

I’ve added my own personal blog on Multiple Intelligences. Feel free to look around there, leave a comment or be inspired.

And just so you can get into the language, there are two sites for you to read. Both are also on the side under ‘links’.

One is the BBC Learning English site with loads of things to read and do.

And here is a site on words that looks at words currently in the news, for example planet and pluto, plus a few surprises.
